Historical buildings

Plumlov Castle

The model of the castle is set in a wider landscape. Two versions were created – the current state and the intended extension. The outputs offer a comparison of the overall massing of the intended development.

Ostrava Castle

The model shows the original state of the castle before its devastation and the later restorations of the 20th century, which unfortunately were not carried out in full accordance with monument conservation and remain a subject of further consideration.

St. Nicholas Church, Prague

Capturing the current appearance of one of Prague’s churches. The model is created for 3D printing with detailed modelling of facades and towers.

Charles Bridge, Prague

The model is designed for 3D printing. The basic elements of the model are the entrance towers on both sides of the bridge, which are modelled in detail. The body of the bridge is modelled in its entire length, but without sculptures yet.

Church of St. Wenceslas, Hustopeče, South Moravia

The original, unfortunately already collapsed, church in Hustopeče town is the basis for a model that is placed in Hustopeče square as it was in the time of collapse. The product was created for animation as well as an architectural model using 3D printing techniques.

Synagogue in Tabor, South Bohemia

A 3D reconstruction of the historical synagogue in Tábor is an ongoing project based on archival sources and photographs. The building no longer exists, but its form is being digitally revived. The final result will be an immersive VR tour.

Projects for Railway modellers

Rataje railway bridge

The model of the Rataje railway bridge was created as a custom project for a railway modelling club. Its main highlight is the central arch measuring 83 cm in length, faithfully reflecting the proportions of the real structure at model scale. The bridge was 3D-printed and serves as a striking feature of the club’s layout.

Railway Station Building in Svetla

3D printing and laser cutting were combined to produce a unique model for a railway club. Structural details were provided by 3D-printed parts, while crisp surfaces were achieved through laser-cut components. Together these elements formed a custom kit that could be assembled like a puzzle.

Other projects

Belvedere - M.C. Escher

A 3D printed model based on the painting by illusionist M.C. Escher called Belvedere. In this model, the illusion is created only in one view of the building, but the model is also interesting from other perspectives.

The Rock City of Petra

This model is paper. It depicts one of the buildings of the rock city of Petra in Jordan – the treasury. The building itself is embedded in an artificial rock.

I don’t prefer this technique anymore, but I’m not opposed to it.
