VISUALIZATION ANIMATION 3DPRINTING
Customised production of architectural models
Scope of my work
The scope of my work can be easily divided into two groups, which are computer – graphical models or real – material models. So the basic question is whether I want to create a model of a particular building as a data file only or whether I want to materialize it into its physical form. Both techniques have their advantages and uses and can of course also be combined. The basis is always a computer model, but for each of these outputs the model is handled slightly differently.
Basic division of model typology
Graphic models
A building model can be an exterior, an interior or a combination of both. The building can be integrated into the wider environment or it can be part of a larger whole (e.g. for technical buildings).
Material models
The building model can also consist of the exterior, interior or a combination of both. The model is then produced on a 3D printer, assembled and painted. The model can also be just a single section of the building.
Comparative visualization
Everything can be visualized, and therefore comparative visualizations of an object can be created. The design variation can include, for example, a comparison of the original state with the proposed state, or it can be a depiction of the development stages of one building. Another option is to set an existing building into the original development. The forms of this design may vary, for example one form may look like this:
Classic visualization
The basic and most used method of displaying buildings and 3D objects. In a single 3D model, a number of static views can be created from different parts of the model. The model itself can be placed in the environment, whether it is an urbanized unit or a landscape scenery. In both cases, a selected type of staging and other accompanying elements are used for authenticity.
Animation
Let's get the models moving.
What can be done:
- classic video flight
- building sections, vertical or horizontal
- to move the accompanying staffage
- combined videos interspersed with other accompanying materials
- and some other effects
About me
I am a 3D graphic designer and modeler and have been doing this for many years. I focus on the creation of models of historical architecture and subsequent presentation in the form of visualizations, animations or 3D printing. On this website I present my work, focusing on the creation of models of historical buildings that are still standing or have long since disappeared. Using both computer graphics and 3D printing, these buildings can be reconstructed and re-entered. I am now offering my skills to you.
